Sculpture Japan founder Kieran Hallahan recognized the need for personally tailored career planning advice for Japan-based professionals. Working in recruitment in Tokyo and Hong Kong, Kieran has met with over a thousand candidates for career discussions. This showed him that there is a need for professional Career Planning guidance. Top recruiters often incorporate this into their service, but volume and time constraints, as well as obvious conflict of interest concerns, means that they can rarely offer the level of service most professionals needed for their careers.
Sculpture Japan was created in 2017 to meet this need. Since offering it's service to Tokyo based professionals, Sculpture Japan has already helped male and female professionals with levels of experience from 5 - 20 years take control of their careers. These professionals have achieved results that would have taken years without professional career planning guidance.
In 2018, Sculpture Japan expanded its product offerings to Corporations, offering the professional career planning services as a unique employee benefit. This service encourages employees to take more control of where their career is going with the company, and helps management have a clearer picture of the state of mind of their employees.

Kieran Hallahan
Kieran is originally from Westmeath, Ireland and studied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics at University of Dublin, Trinity College. He arrived in Japan in 2005 and since then has built his career in both Tokyo and Hong Kong as a trusted recruitment and career advisor to clients such as Apple, Red Bull, Sumitomo 3M and Visa Card, and to many, many candidates.
In meeting with hundreds of clients and thousands of candidates, Kieran has developed an insight into what drives successful careers. He has already helped professionals gain salary increases of over 70% in less than 5 years, earn multiple promotions through strategic planning and achieve better work life balance.
